In 2017, the British Sail Training Yacht Rona II will set off on the voyage of a lifetime, taking part in the Tall Ships Rendevous. Her crew will be over 100 young men and women from all walks of life. They will have been selected from the trainees who have given of their best over the last few seasons of sail training. See http://atlantic2017.org/ for full details of this adventure.

But to get there, each crew member has committed to a sponsored challenge which will raise money, raise the profile of the event, increase personal fitness and bond the crew as a team.We will RUN THE ATLANTIC.

Sines -> Bermuda: 2776 nm

Halifax -> Le Havre – 2294 nm

100 people running 4500km is a commitment by each crew member to run 45km.

If we achieve this, we will have RUN THE ATLANTIC.
